WHO WE ARE
Zanzibar Home Nursing Care aims to offer home healthcare of international standards provided by nurses in Unguja Island.
The company has been conceived as a service that helps people to receive care comfortably in their own homes, while being surrounded by their loved ones.
The idea has been built thinking about all the clinical nursing procedures that a patient can receive, without going and waiting in the hospital. Furthermore receiving treatment at home is known to have a positive effect on patients, for factors both physical and emotional, allowing for a better recovery. This is something which doesn’t exist in Zanzibar up to now.
We are able to do this by diligently bringing together the right professionals, well thought-out care regimes of outstanding clinical quality and a good acknowledgment of Zanzibar’s environment.
When a person is sick, both the patient and the caregiver go through a difficult phase, which creates unusual demands on one’s time, energy, emotions. During such times, Zanzibar Home Nursing Care aspires to be a reminder of the positive aspect of healing. Be it recovery to perfect health, making life beautiful in old age, easing the pain of a chronic illness or simply having the opportunity to receive the right care in the comfort of our own house.
WHAT WE DO
We take care of YOU at your home.
We offer nursing services at home, whether the client is asking for a nursing procedure required by the doctor or whether he is looking for services related to care plans, patient or caregiver education.
We offer you one-time home visits as well as long-term care at home, services can be customized based on the patient’s condition and you may select a time slot convenient to you.
The nurse will come to the address indicated at the most convenient time for the patient.
All services provided by Zanzibar Home Nursing Care can be tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. We can offer specific care plans for chronic, post hospitalized, oncologic patients for example, as well as monitoring of health condition or specific procedure as blood sampling, catheterization, wound dressing etc. Each client is treated with the dignity, respect, compassion, and care they deserve.
Our staff consists of nurses who provide nursing care to patients as per their clinical condition, based on the doctor’s prescription and who continue to expand their professional experience while working in hospitals, therefore we can guarantee the highest quality of nursing services. Our patients vary from adults, seniors and children. Thanks to us, you no longer have to leave your home or wait in queues to get clinical services. The awareness of the total lack of a home nursing service in Zanzibar and the difficulty of accessing care, combined with the passion for the nursing profession and the desire to share one’s experience and professionalism, are the basis of the idea that led her to create this company.
