When a patient can’t eat or swallow, they may need to have a nasogastric tube inserted. This process is known as nasogastric (NG) intubation. The condition of patients fed by nasogastric tube (NG tube) often makes it difficult or impossible for them to visit a health center. Our nursing in home service provides insertion, removal and replacement of the gastric probe service without patient leaving home.

During NG intubation, a nurse will insert a thin plastic tube through your nostril, down your esophagus, and into your stomach. Once this tube is in place, they can use it to give you food and medicine. For an increased sense of comfort and constant supervision, our professionals can perform these procedures at home.
